Welcome to Superior Shores, a quaint family-owned retreat nestled along the sandy south shore of Lake Superior.  We’re perched right on the Lake Superior shoreline — a rare location that puts you steps from the water, minutes from the Porcupine Mountains and a charming lakeside village, and miles from distraction.

Superior Shores isn’t just a business — it’s our summer story.

Jeramy grew up spending summers at his grandfather's lake cottage, where life felt simple and free. That love for the lake never faded. Years later, we found a chance to bring it full circle. We discovered a quiet property on the shores of Lake Superior — an old summer home with several additional buildings and old motel called Superior Shores. A place with history, ready for its next chapter. It wasn’t perfect, but it had soul, history, and a killer location right on the water. We saw more than repairs. We saw rustic charm, patiently waiting to shine again, where the past echoes and new memories are ready to begin.

We moved into the main house and began restoring the rest — a mix of rustic cabins and classic motel-style units. Each one was updated to be clean, comfortable, and welcoming, while holding on to its original charm. The result is a laid-back, family-run retreat where guests can enjoy the quiet magic of lake life.

It didn’t need to be reinvented — just given thoughtful updates to bring it to its best self. We’re not quite finished, but we’re proud of how far it’s come and excited for what’s still ahead.

We live here in the summer and open the rest of the property to guests who appreciate a slower pace, a quieter place, and the feeling of stepping into something real.
